The algorithm

you are autistic. you are trans. you are queer.

you think in ones and zeroes, blacks or whites, truths or lies.
you know it, and your therapist knows it too.

you struggle to live. the others are scary. the others judge you.
the others think you’re too rigid sometimes.

you struggle to do anything outside of your routine.
your routine is the algorithm that drives your life.

your life, like an algorithm, has a start and an end.
it comforts you.

however, you’re still trying to fake it.

you can’t fake seeing grey areas if your thought is black and white.
you can’t fake being a person because you’re nothing more than a robot.
will you accept it?

the algorithm is running fast, and there is a comparison next.
be yourself, and it will continue for plenty more time;
stay in denial, and it will jump to the end.
